How Windbreak Nets Are Installed in Orchards
Windbreak nets are usually installed along the edge of the orchard or around the whole field.
The common installation method is simple.
• Step 1 Install support posts
Metal or wooden posts are fixed into the ground at regular spacing.
• Step 2 Add steel wire or support cable
Steel wire is stretched between posts to support the net.
• Step 3 Fix the windbreak net
The net is attached to the wire using clips or rope.
• Step 4 Keep proper tension
The net should be tight enough to stay stable but not too tight so it can handle strong wind.
Farmers usually leave a small gap near the ground to allow some airflow.
