PET Reflective Film for Fruit Orchards
Why Use PET Reflective Film?
Fruit color is affected by sunlight. When fruit gets less light, it may not develop color as well.
After the film is laid, sunlight can reflect from the ground to the lower parts of the tree. This is useful for fruits that are covered by leaves or grow in shaded areas. The result depends on the fruit variety and growing conditions.

Suitable for Different Fruit Orchards
Apples
Some apples are red on one side but green on the other. This can happen when one side gets less sunlight. Reflective film helps send more light to the lower and inner parts of the tree.
Cherries
Cherries need enough light to develop good red color. If the fruit grows under leaves, the color may be uneven. Reflective film helps reflect sunlight toward these areas.
Grapes
In some vineyards, leaves cover the grape clusters and block sunlight. Reflective film can send more light back toward the vines. Its effect depends on the grape variety and how the vines are grown.
How to Use the Film
The film is usually laid on the ground between tree rows before harvest. For apples, some growers lay it about 30–45 days before picking. For other fruits, the timing depends on the variety and local growing conditions.
Keep the film flat and fix the edges to stop the wind from lifting it.
If you need a material that lets water and air pass through and also helps control weeds, we also offer white reflective ground cover made from PP or PE. Contact us for more information.

Rain is not the biggest problem. Wind is.
In some areas, strong wind comes several times every year. After some time, the rain cover may get damaged, torn, or worn out because of the wind.
To help solve this problem, we made a new rain cover design. It can reduce wind pressure and still keep the rain out.
