PE Patch-Emitter Flat Drip Tape | Single-Hole / Double-Hole Models

The flat irrigation tape itself is made of polyethylene and has tiny flat emitters welded inside the wall. These little outlets let water seep slowly into the soil right where the roots grow. Depending on how the rows are planted, you can pick single-hole or double-hole spacing. In vegetable fields, orchards or greenhouses it helps keep the plants supplied with water and nutrients without wasting much.

Vegetables

Patch-type drip tape has proved useful in a wide range of vegetables, for example tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lettuce, spinach and cabbage. In practice many students in agricultural courses also test it in organic plots or even simple hydroponic beds, because it brings water straight to the roots instead of wetting the leaves.

Mushrooms

For mushrooms such as oyster, shiitake and button, the tape gives a simple way to keep the substrate damp but not soggy. The steady humidity it creates is one of the main reasons these crops respond well to it.
