More Stable in Wind, No Leakage in the Middle

This rain shelter is developed based on real problems found in orchard use. Traditional orchard covering systems usually use two separate sheets to form a structure. This creates a joint in the middle, which is often the weakest point during use.

In outdoor conditions, wind can build pressure inside the shelter, causing the film to lift. At the same time, the middle connection is more likely to leak or become damaged over time.

This design removes the middle joint completely. The structure is made in one piece, and a pressure-release layer is added to improve stability.

As a rain cover for agriculture, it performs more reliably under wind and rain conditions.

Choose the Right Structure for Your Field

Two structure options are available, depending on different field requirements.

The mesh version uses a “membrane – mesh – membrane” structure. The middle mesh layer allows air to pass through, helping reduce internal pressure while keeping the structure supported. This type is more suitable for areas with stronger wind or for high-value crops such as cherry and grape.

The open structure version removes the mesh layer and keeps the middle part open. Air can pass through directly, which helps release pressure more efficiently. The structure is simpler and more cost-effective, suitable for basic orchard cover applications.

How the Top Film Is Fixed (Adjustable vs Fixed Structure)

The top woven film is fixed together with the bottom layer as a complete system.  At both ends, the layers are stitched together to secure the structure.

In the middle section, there are two different fixing methods:

1. The mesh version uses webbing at intervals of 0.8m or 1m, allowing adjustment of tightness based on field conditions.

2. The open version uses direct stitching at the same spacing, creating a more fixed and stable structure without adjustment.

If required, the open version can also be made with adjustable webbing.

Fiberglass Support Structure for Better Stability

The structure is supported by fiberglass rods, forming an arch shape. This allows rainwater to flow down easily and avoids water accumulation.

Multiple rods distribute wind and rain load evenly across the surface, improving overall stability. Compared with metal frames, fiberglass is lighter, easier to install, and resistant to corrosion.

This product is widely used in orchard applications, including cherry cover, grape cover, and other high-value crops. It helps reduce rain damage, stabilize growing conditions, and improve crop protection.
