They are used first in agriculture, where farmers stretch them over greenhouses to cool the air for vegetables and mushrooms, or lay them on top of greenhouse film to protect it from UV and slow down ageing. In orchards the same net is thrown over trellises or simple frames to keep direct sun off fruit. Because the weave is open enough for air and rain to pass through, it also works for everyday shading in courtyards, carports and temporary work areas. Each roll can be made to the width, weight and shade rate a project needs, with reinforced hems and eyelets for easier fixing.
